25 best horror movies

In honor of the recent holiday festivities, I've assembled my list of my favorite 25 horror movies of all times. Now, bear in mind that "horror" is a hard thing to define, so I've used it in the broader sense of "horror/thriller." Also, it's important to note that I (shamefully) have not seen several must-see horror flicks which include the early classics (Dracula, Frankenstein, Nosferatu) and some other important later films (The Omen, Rosemary's Baby, Cape Fear). But nonetheless, here is what I have to offer:
