Helena Bonham Carter, if you don't mind me saying, should be in the top ten. But otherwise, cool.

Definitely like this project! I'm excited to see where my favorite ladies will fall (Natalie Portman, Laura Linney, Rita Hayworth, Doris Day, you know, the usual. :) )

I agree, HBC deserves more!!! :)

The thing is, I really can't stand Meg Ryan. At all. I don't know why, I just don't.

Well at least a few of my ladies are on the list... even if they should have been a bit higher...
And how is it possible to not like Meg Ryan?

HBC also should have her wonderful Merchant Ivory work as key roles.

I must say, I'm pretty shocked to see some of those names this low but I guess it's too early to judge since we haven't seen the rest of the list.

Listen, Simon, Andrew, & Jose: I sense you're trying to stir up trouble, so how can I make amends? :) Though HBC was apparently horribly neglected, I urge you too to compile a best actresses list and see where she ends up. Also, consider me the protector of Meg Ryan from henceforth - though she may have resorted to schlock lately, she will forever have my heart thanks to You've Got Mail. :)

Sonia: Indeed! Now hopefully I won't upset you with their placement... *pacing nervously*

Bob: Which ones? Do I sense a future blog list in the making? :)

And Castor, thank you for your confidence in my abilities to form opinions about lady thesps. Hopefully there won't be too many more audacious snubs in the upcoming posts. :)

No worries look, I'll ignore Meg Ryan. And no worries about HBC.

I did do a list of my own, way back when. HBC is #3
