I can't really argue with you other than to point out where the heck 4 Weddings and a Funeral is?

The Upside of Anger wedding scene was great when Joan Allen slaps the guy who's sleeping with his daughter.

My favorite weddings are all involving Scarlett O'Hara.

Good idea for a post! I think Rachel Getting Married is a bit overrated in that sense (wait, probably on every sense)

Oddly, Castor. As much as I don't like RGM, I love the actual wedding. Very cool.

Great idea for a post indeed! I agree with Mike that Four Weddings & A Funeral should be in this list.

I LOVE the wedding in Sound of Music... so beautiful and heartwarming, I adore the music 'How Do You Solve A Problem Like Maria?' playing during the procession (which was shot beautifully). I think it's whimsical and sweet.

And the wedding at the end of S&S never fails to make me cry!

I'm not really sure if this would count, but the wedding in The Graduate is so iconic and it begins those last few adreneline pumped final minutes and sends the finale soaring...

Simon: As per usual, your eccentric comments are both beloved and baffling. :)

Mike and rtm: Shameful, I know, but I've managed to avoid Four Weddings in my years on this earth. Apparently it's worth seeing??

Andrew: Ha! Yeah, the big hair extravaganza got trumped. What can I say - I'm sure Ouiser would consider me a pig from hell.

Dom: Joan Cusack is a dream. Very well put.

Jose: Ah, but I'm much more a fan of her mourning-wear...

Castor: I see your overrated and raise you a Rosemarie Dewitt... I can somewhat understand the Hathaway hate here, but I just can't help but love Dewitt!

Twister: Oh, how could I have forgotten that one! It seems I'll need a revamped edition next year... I smell an annual wedded bliss list!

But I'm talking about Kill Bill! There was no wedding, yo, it was a rehearsal!

The audacity...

Luke, you are the man! I can't understand for the life of me why Anne Hathaway gets an Oscar nomination and Rosemarie DeWitt gets no recognition whatsoever!!! I'm going to be nice and won't actually say that Hathaway's performance is overrated (wait, I did) but DeWitt was right up there with her at the very least...
