birthdays: december 3

Julianne Moore, 50, prolific actress extraordinaire and ageless wonder, she was stellar in The Hours, Far From Heaven, and Boogie Nights (among others) and was a wholly good sport in 30 Rock and Nine Months, doing it for redheads everywhere
Daryl Hannah, 50, though made by mermaiding in Splash and drabbing it up in Steel Magnolias, her career renaissance in the Kill Bill movies and as the creator of that insanely addictive game Liebrary is my personal favorite part
Brendan Fraser, 42, actor more known recently for constant duds and loony awards show appearances, I fondly recall his delightful turns in the first two Mummy movies and the underrated Blast from the Past, as well as the far more serious Gods & Monsters
Amanda Seyfried, 25, recent co-star to birthday buddy Moore (Chloe), dunderheaded Karen Smith in Mean Girls, and the semi-worldly daughter Sarah in Big Love
Andrew Stanton, 45, Pixar bigwig, Academy Award winner, and incredible screenwriter of the Toy Story trilogy, Monsters, Inc., Finding Nemo, and WALL-E, one of the great minds of modern movies
Anna Chlumsky, 30, though she's most recently recognizable as Floyd's girlfriend Liz Lemler on 30 Rock, she's best known as the mouthy Vada Sultenfuss in My Girl
Jean-Luc Godard, 80, acclaimed French director of Breathless and Pierrot le Fou and big name in the French New Wave of cinema hits a milestone birthday this year
Michael Angarano, 23, lovable long-lost-son Elliott in Will & Grace and bit-part kid star whose credits include Seabiscuit, Almost Famous, and Music of the Heart
Bruno Campos, 37, international romancer to Christina Applegate in the short-lived TV series Jessie, demented serial killer The Carver in Nip/Tuck, and most recently as suave amphibian Prince Naveen in The Princess and the Frog
Nino Rota, (1911-1979), famed Italian score composer who penned that impossibly iconic Godfather theme and the impeccable 1968 score to Zeferelli's Romeo and Juliet
Heather Menzies, 61, the original Louisa von Trapp in The Sound of Music and later the headlining star of the camp classic 1978 original Piranha
Steven Culp, 55, mainstay on The West Wing, Star Trek: Enterprise, and JAG, he's perhaps best known as the late Rex van de Kamp on Desperate Housewives
