the 2011 LCT AWARDS: the tv nominees

It's that time of year again.  For those of you who know me, you know that my nerdiness knows no bounds.  And that is never manifested quite like my annual awards, the LCT Awards.  In its 17th annual incarnation, the nominees have been announced, and the winners will be crowned at the exclusive ceremony Feb. 12.  Its an annual tradition that hearkens back to that fateful first Oscar viewing that forever has impacted my future obsessions with all things awards.  Honoring the best in film, television, and music, these are my 2011 choices for television, to kick off the announcements:

Stellar nominees, but why so mean and loop the dramas and comedies in one, preventing nods for people like Enos, Panjabi, and Best? Great slate, though - even if I've never mustered up significant appreciation for Friday Night Lights.
